Congratulations to David Vickers who ran in the 2013 Tokyo Marathon for Aid For Japan. He completed the Marathon in 6.5 hours (despite damaging his knee) and raised £314.18 via donations on the JustGiving website.

As David commented on his JustGiving page regarding the motivation to take part in the Marathon: “I was unlucky enough to be in Japan when the massive earthquake struck on the afternoon of March 11, 2011. However, living on the outskirts of Tokyo, I was far more lucky that apart from a mighty scare for a few minutes while my apartment shook, I didn’t suffer any serious ill effects.”
