One of the sources of Aid For Japan’s funding is from volunteers devoting their time to raise money for the charity through a variety of activities.
When Emile Goldberg was told by his daughter that her ballet school wanted to recruit him to play the part of the King in a production of Sleeping Beauty, he saw an opportunity for fundraising. As a result, he has generously offered to raise funds for Aid For Japan.
The Singapore-based Cheng Ballet Academy will be staging the performance of Sleeping Beauty on the 10th and 11th December 2017.
Emile has a JustGiving page set up for those who wish to donate with a view to raising $5,000 as a target. As things stand, the total pledged funds have already reached over $4,500.
